ABOUT ME

About me - Litigation Stress Coach, Swiss - Anja Sigmund

I work with people who are going through one of the most stressful experiences of their lives – and who need more than legal advice to get through it.

My work is shaped by two things: over two decades in demanding professional environments, and my own deeply personal experience inside litigation. Both taught me something important – that prolonged uncertainty doesn’t just test your patience. It tests your identity, your relationships, and your ability to think clearly when it matters most. And almost nobody talks about this side of it.

I’m the creator of the Litigation Resilience Method™ – a structured, practical approach designed to help you stay stable, clear-headed, and emotionally grounded while the legal process unfolds around you.

Before This Work Found Me

Before I specialised in litigation stress, I spent over twenty years in international trade, working primarily with Southern European markets and maintaining a close professional and personal connection to France. Business ventures and personal relationships took me across Africa, the Middle East, Russia, and India. Working across cultures taught me a great deal about pressure, communication, and the importance of staying grounded when situations become complex.

But it was litigation that changed everything.

The Turning Point

Living through the mental and emotional demands of an open-ended legal process showed me – in the most visceral way – how isolating this experience can be. How it seeps into every part of your life. And how rarely anyone addresses the human impact of what you’re going through.

Your lawyer handles the legal strategy. But who helps you hold it together?

That question became the foundation of my work.

I trained in approaches focused on stress regulation, emotional resilience, and mental clarity. I began working with people facing highly stressful situations – helping them regain stability and perspective when everything felt like it was falling apart.

Over time, it became clear that my own experience of the legal process gave me something that training alone couldn’t: a genuine, lived understanding of the pressures involved. I gradually focused my work entirely on supporting individuals navigating the intense – and often prolonged – stress of legal proceedings.

What I’m Working On Now

I’m currently writing a book on litigation stress, bringing together personal insight with practical tools and strategies to help people understand, manage, and ultimately move through the stress of legal proceedings. Because this conversation needs to happen more openly – and more honestly.

If you’d like more context on the personal turning point that led me to this work, you’ll find it in My Story.
